Privacy Policy
How this static, account-free website handles device-local progress and limited technical data.
Last updated: June 20, 2026.
Information stored on your device
The quiz uses browser localStorage to save the selected province, attempts, category totals, mistakes, bookmarks, completed sessions, active-session position, timer state, and preferences. This data stays in that browser profile on that device. It is not an account, is not synchronized, and may disappear when browser storage is cleared.
You can use the reset-progress control to remove the stored quiz record. Browser privacy settings can also block or clear localStorage. The application is designed to recover from missing or malformed stored data.
Information the website does not request
No login, profile, licence number, identity document, criminal-record check, payment information, or official test credential is required. Do not send sensitive documents through the correction email. Individual selected answers and localStorage history are not sent to analytics.
Hosting and technical logs
The static hosting provider may process ordinary request data such as IP address, requested URL, time, browser information, and security events to deliver and protect the site. Retention and location depend on the selected host's operational settings and should be reviewed during deployment.
Analytics and advertising
No advertising or third-party analytics provider is configured at launch. If enabled later, non-essential scripts must be controlled by a consent mechanism where required. The analytics abstraction is limited to broad events such as starting a mock exam or creating a bookmark and must not include selected answers, free text, personal identifiers, or saved progress history.
External links
Official government, legislation, and testing links have their own privacy practices. Following a link sends a normal request to that external site; this policy does not control it.
Children and changes
The site is designed for people preparing for licensed work, which in Ontario requires a person to be at least 18. It is not directed to children. Material policy changes will update the date and the description of data use before new non-essential processing is introduced.
